Biography

Freshly graduated in January 2019 with a second upper class honours (2:1) two years' Master of Arts (2016-18) at the University of Limerick (Ireland) in Irish Traditional Music Performance. During the Master she studied with some of the best Irish musicians as Siobhan Peoples, Eileen O'Brien, John Carty, Brendon Mulkere, Martin Hayes, Charlie Lennon, Oisin Mc Diarmada, Danny Diamond, Conor Caldwell, Ryan Molloy, Alan Kelly, Kevin Burke, Caoimhin O'Raghallaigh, Zoe Conway, Aidan O'Connell, Brid Harper, and with International musicians as the Visthen (Canada), Marie Fielding (Scotland), Brandon Vance (USA), Rushad Eggleston (USA). During these years she recorded radio programs for RTE, she participated to “The night of culture” at University Concert Hall in September 2016 and 2017, playing as violinist and violist in Univeristy of Limerick's Arena as part of the band for Colm Mac Con Iomaire and Lisa O'Neill's in April 2017. In August 2017 she performed in Switzerland as part of an exchange program with the University of World music of Rotterdam (CODARTS) and Luzern Conservatory for the Altdorf music Festival.

Parallel to her Irish music studies, she attended classes of Scottish, Turkish, Indian, Swedish, Norvegian, Canadian and Old Time music and arrangements, developing a special interest for string arrangements and recordings, and working with the loop station to push the bundaries of the tradition.
